I would substitute the same amount of honey for the sugar (1/2 cup). One thing to note is that honey is 17% water, so I would remove about 4 tsp of the milk in order to compensate for that. Muffins made with honey might also have a shorter shelf life because honey is hygroscopic in baked goods, meaning these muffins will attract moisture as they sit.
